Report: EU discusses Russian oil price ceiling at $62
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- The E.U. is discussing setting the price ceiling on Russian oil at U.S. $62 per barrel, Bloomberg reported late on Monday citing diplomats, but Reuters said the negotiations failed again.
The diplomats cited by Bloomberg said that Poland and the Baltic States said that the proposed price level was still too hig.
The European states suspended discussing the price limit for Russia on November 25, because some of them believe that the proposed threshold of $65-70 per barrel is too generous. Poland then offered to set the limit at $30, and the decision was supported by Ukraine.
